Made it on CANSCAIP Long List

This spring I entered the Canadian Society of Children's Authors, Illustrators and Performers (CANSCAIP) contest for children's picture book contest. This is an annual competition open to anyone across Canada. This year there were 600 entries and 58 were chosen for the long list, and I am one of them! Which is very exiting. Now I am waiting to see if I make the short list which will be announced sometime in September.

The winners will be presented to three Canadian publishers! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
